2019 Rumble to the River - Customer Appreciation and Charity Partner Training Ride 7/21/2019

Please Join us at Big Shark West for our 8th annual customer appreciation ride. We will be rolling from the Missouri River Valley in Chesterfield "almost" to the Mighty Mississippi in downtown STL and back. The shorter ride option will be an out-and-back jaunt to our central, Big Bend location.

Our Rumble to the River rides are used to pump up and prepare for two of our favorite charity rides- this fall's Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Cycle for Life and the Pedal the Cause Ride. Get motivated! Ride for two great causes.

Who is invited: YOU. Bring your friends too.

When: Sunday, July 21st. Meet at Big Shark West, 17233 Chesterfield Airport Road.

  • Pre-Ride mechanical support, water and coffee- 7:30am Sponsored by Kaldi's Coffee
  • Wheels Roll at 8:00am, with fanfare.

Ride Option 1: Big Shark West to Big Shark Big Bend Location and Back. Approximate Distance 40 Miles.

Ride Option 2: Big Shark West to Urban Shark and Back. Approximate Distance 55 Miles.

The Route: A mildy rolling jaunt out and back through the central corridor from Chesterfield to the City. We will mark the route AND have turn by turn cue sheets available.

Rest Stations: Big Shark Big Bend (Mile 20 and mile 35) and Urban Shark (Mile 27) will be supplying cold drinks and energy food so you can complete the route with style and grace.

Post Ride:

  • Hang out and have a cold one with the Sharks and the Staff from the CFF
  • BBQ+Beer (and water) will be provided by Big Shark
  • Wine Spritzers from Barefoot will be provided by Glazers Distribution

 

The Rumble to the River event originated as a one-on-one bike race that pitted local celebrities and competitive cyclists against each other in a race from Chesterfield Commons to the Mississippi River and back.
