2023 Tour de Kirkwood Triathlon Sunday, July 23rd, 2023
This triathlon is a welcoming and fun experience that introduces the sport to first timers and developing triathletes. We time and score this event- but don't have awards in the traditional sense- everyone who participates wins.
Volunteer! We need you- help us have some fun and support the Tour de Kirkwood Tri HERE
The Distances:
- Swim: 400 yard pool swim - serpentine course with a time trial start. Fastest swimmers to the front.
- Bike: 10 miles (two 5 mile loops)
- Run: 3 miles (two 1.5 mile loops)
July 16th! Pre- Event Triathlon 101 Event: Triathlon 101 will be held this year at the Kirkwoood Park Amphitheater, Saturday, July 15th at 10am.
What is Triathlon 101? Everything you need to know about what to do in the days preceding the triathlon and on race day. We'll discuss race prep and tips, things to do and think about in the last week before the race and specifics about each segment. It's also an opportunity to ask questions about the race and triathlon in general. This is a free pre- TdK event- please attend if you're a newbie or a veteran who wants to 'fresh up' your tri knowledge.
