Gateway Outdoor Expo Community Gravel Ride on the Katy Trail

Let's Ride Bikes at the Gateway Outdoor Expo + Summit!

What! Expo Gravel/MTB Ride – Sunday, Nov. 16th at 9 a.m.

Gear up and join the Big Shark Bicycle Co. and South Side XC or a group gravel ride on the Katy Trail or mountain bike ride on Bangert Island before the Gateway Outdoor Expo. No registration, no timing, no swag — just good vibes, friendly faces, and a morning miles.

All local clubs, groups, and their members are welcome to gear up and hit the Katy Trail or Bangert Island with us. It's a great way to connect and celebrate our shared passion for the outdoors as one community.

After the ride, you are invited inside the Convention Center for pastries, fruit, beverages, and a stroll through the Expo’s 150 booths of outdoor gear, activities, and inspiration.

Where! Saint Charles Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Blvd, St Charles, MO 63303

When! Wheels roll at 9am from Lot D, See you there!

?? Meet: South end of the St. Charles Convention Center parking lot (look for the tent and flag).
?? All paces welcome: Go as far as you like — guides will help keep everyone accounted for.
?? Afterward: Enjoy a light breakfast in our Hospitality Room, then stick around as the Expo doors open at 10 a.m.!

About the Gravel Route!

We'll start and finish at the St. Charles Convention Center. After a short road ride to the trail, we'll ride out and back to the end point of the Katy at Machens. Not up for 30 miles? No worries, you can call it whenever you want and head back. We'll have a mechanic at the start and will SAG the ride from the trail. See you there!
