The Oreo Roubaix Gravel Ride 11/12/2022


The Mission:

With your help, the Casey Saunders Foundation (The Foundation) creates opportunities for young people interested in cycling in the St. Louis region by providing grants and by helping them connect with the Greater St. Louis cycling community. 

All proceeds from The Oreo Roubaix go to the Casey Saunders Foundation.

The Event: The Oreo Roubaix Gravel Ride is a supported road and gravel ride featuring three distance rides that all begin and end at the November 12th, Bubba Memorial Cyclocross Race Series event at Faust Park. 

NEW FOR 2022!- We have added a post ride lunch provided by The Gramophone, Justin Bowen's Band, and Chip Timing by Big River Race Management. 

First 300 to register will receive a cool BeLikeCasey backpack and buff. 


The Event: The Oreo Roubaix Gravel Ride is a supported road and gravel ride featuring three distance rides that all begin and end at the November 12th, Bubba Memorial Cyclocross Race Series event at Faust Park. 

The Long "Double Stuff" and Medium "Regular Stuff" routes will be a mix of pavement and gravel. The Short "Mini Stuff" route will be paved and suitable for any type of bicycle. 

When: Saturday, November 12th, 2022. Registration opens at 8:00am, all rides begin at 9:00am. Post ride hang out and enjoy a BBQ Lunch from Joe Smugala's Gastropti, Oreos compliments of The Foundation. . Libations courtesy of local favorite- Urban Chestnut Brewing Company. 

Where: Faust Park, 15185 Olive Road, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017. The start/finish for the event will be at the Bubba Cyclocross Race located by the Music School, just north of the Butterfly House parking lot.

Registration Information:  Event entry fee is $55. On-line pre-registration is available at HERE You can also register on-site on November 13th by 8:30 am. There will be a slight surcharge for online registrations. All pre-registrants will receive a ,Timing Chip, Post Ride Lunch, BLC Bib Number, Oreos, Drawstring Bag, and a BLC Buff. There is no late fee, but event-day registrants are not guaranteed schwag. If you would like to purchase the BBQ for a non-participant you can add to your registration cart for an additional $12 per person. There are no refunds, registration is transferable.

Course Descriptions: 

The Short Route- “Mini Stuff”- This is an almost 100% paved out and back route that heads west to the Monarch Levee Trail. 15. 8 miles and 432 of climbing. One rest stop at the turn around.

The Medium Route – “Regular Stuff”- This route begins on pavement and transitions about half way in to gravel on the Katy Trail and Busch Greenway and the Hamburg Trail. 1237’ feet of climbing over 35.5 miles.

The Long Route- “The Double Stuff”- This is a 45-mile route that begins on pavement and transitions for the Katy Trail to the gravel roads of Busch Wildlife and the Hamburg Trail. 1600’ feet of climbing and two rest stops that are visited out and back.
