The Oreo Roubaix Gravel Ride 11/11/2023


The Mission:

With your help, the Casey Saunders Foundation (The Foundation) creates opportunities for young people interested in cycling in the St. Louis region by providing grants and by helping them connect with the Greater St. Louis cycling community. 

All proceeds from The Oreo Roubaix go to the Casey Saunders Foundation.

The Event: The Oreo Roubaix Gravel Ride is a supported road and gravel ride featuring three distance rides that all begin and end at the November 11th, Bubba Memorial Cyclocross Race Series event at Faust Park. Stick around and cheer for the region's best CX athletes.

The Long "Double Stuff" and Medium "Regular Stuff" routes will be a mix of pavement and gravel. The Short "Mini Stuff" route will be paved and suitable for any type of bicycle. 

When: Saturday, November 11th, 2023. Registration opens at 8:00am, all rides begin at 9:00am. 

Where: Faust Park, 15185 Olive Road, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017. The start/finish for the event will be at the Bubba Cyclocross Race located by the Music School, just north of the Butterfly House parking lot.

Registration Information: Each participant will receive a tasty Be Like Casey Water Bottle, while supplies last!

Pre-Event Packet Pick-Up: You can pick up you race # and goodies on Friday the 10th. @ Big Shark Bicycle Company's Big Bend location, 1155 South Big Bend Blvd. STL MO 63117 between 4pm and 7pm.

Course Descriptions: 

The Short Route- “Mini Stuff”- This is an almost 100% paved out and back route that heads west to the Monarch Levee Trail. 15. 8 miles and 432 of climbing.

The Medium Route – “Regular Stuff”- This route begins on pavement and transitions about half way in to gravel on the Katy Trail and Busch Greenway and the Hamburg Trail. 1237’ feet of climbing over 35.5 miles.

The Long Route- “The Double Stuff”- This is a 45-mile route that begins on pavement and transitions for the Katy Trail to the gravel roads of Busch Wildlife and the Hamburg Trail. 1600’ feet of climbing and one rest stop at Weldon Springs.
