Details
The Tokul is a trail bike designed for all-out commitment and sketchy conditions. Drawing on the previous Tokul 3 frame design, this playful hardtail is built on a rugged aluminum frame that's longer and slacker than before. Vee Tire Co. Crown Gem 27.5 x 2.6" tires mounted on 50mm-wide rims provide more confident handling when things get loose.
The Tokul 1 comes equipped with SRAM NX 1x11 drivetrain components, front and rear thru-axles, and an SR Suntour XCR-34 fork with 130mm of travel. Tektro M275 hydraulic disc brakes ensure consistent stopping power when flying into the corners. All of that adds up to a bike that can hold its own at the bike park and lets you open up the throttle on your weekday trails.

Wider than standard yet narrower than fat, plus-size rims and tires hit the sweet spot in grip, stability, and speed, giving you more confidence on technical terrain. Compared to a standard tire you’ll feel grip in places you wouldn’t expect thanks to a bigger contact patch and greater rollover clearance. More air volume allows lower tire pressures which softens bumps and increases float on sand or snow.
