Warbird is Salsa's gravel race bike, designed to provide smooth performance on the roughest surfaces. It was built off years of experience racing in some of the nation’s premier gravel events like the Almanzo 100, Dirty Kanza 200, and 340-mile Trans Iowa. Carbon frame and fork deliver Salsa’s Class 5 Vibration Reduction System to smooth out gravel’s often relentless chatter. The 700c 105 build takes the speed and efficiency of 700 x 40c Maxxis Rambler tires on DT Swiss C 1800 wheels, and mates them to a workhorse Shimano 105 2x10-speed drivetrain that opens the door to hill-dominated landscapes. Keep your cool and a double handful of control on the descents with the Warbird’s 105 hydraulic disc brakes that offer the kind of power normally reserved for bikes with fatter rubber and flatter bars.
