Warbird is Salsa's gravel race bike, designed to provide smooth performance on the roughest surfaces. It was built off years of experience racing in some of the nation’s premier gravel events like the Almanzo 100, Dirty Kanza 200, and 340-mile Trans Iowa. Carbon frame and fork deliver Salsa’s Class 5 Vibration Reduction System to smooth out gravel’s often relentless chatter. The 650B Force 1 build takes the race-ready speed and efficiency of 27.5 x 2.10 Maxxis Pace tires on WTB KOM Light rims, and mates them to the go-fast SRAM Force 1x11-speed drivetrain with a chain-retaining X-Sync chainring and hill-destroying 10-42T cassette range. Keep your cool and a double handful of control on the descents with the Warbird’s Force HRD hydraulic disc brakes that offer the kind of power normally reserved for bikes with fatter rubber and flatter bars.
