Join us on Thursday, February 15th for the screening of a festival length film that celebrates American Criterium Racing. We Are Rock N Roll, written, directed, and produced by filmmaker Justin Balog and his company, Shared Territory Studios.
The film blends the stories, action, chaos, and drama from the 2023 American Criterium Cup. Starting in Anniston, Alabama at the Sunny King Criterium and culminating in St. Louis at the Bommarito Audi West County Gateway Cup's historic Giro della Montagna, the film tracks five stories across the ten race season.
We Are Rock n Roll is the ideal film for the avid cyclist who doesn’t necessarily know about or follow crits. It will whet the appetite of the seasoned fan and athlete. The film is a very effective and efficient piece that brings personal stories you care about to light against the back drop of the second season of the American Criterium Cup. Length: 40 Minutes.
Double Feature! Following the ACC We A Rock N Roll Film, we will be screening a 2nd independent film, Crit Dreams - presented by BMC Bikes, that features one of the athletes, Danny Summerhill, and his American Cycling Group Team through the 2023 Season. A beautiful film that showcases St. Louis and the Bommarito Audi West County Gateway Cup as the finale for their season. Length: 48 Minutes.
Showtimes- One Night Only, February 15th, 2024. Doors open at 6:45pm. Following a brief introduction at 7:15, the film will begin at 7:30pm. Followed by a brief inermission we will screen Crit dreams. We will host a 20 Minute Q & A post film with athletes and organizers.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 on-site.
